Kruger National Park
South Africa

  Featured SafarisAboutSafari.com

Kruger National Park comprises an impressive 2 million hectares (5 million acres). No fences exist within this area so animals are free to roam and migrate throughout.
The southern section of Kruger Park has large rivers flowing through the area which attracts high density game and predator numbers, however this is also a high impact tourist area. Expected game viewing for this region is the Big 5 - Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo with good chances of sighting wild dog, hyena and cheetah. All types of general game species occur - namely, varying antelope, giraffe and zebra.
